How do I reserve equipment from Northern?

Browse the catalog by category above, open the one you need, and use Check Availability & Reserve to pick your dates and book online. Prefer to talk it through? Call our Poulsbo yard and we’ll set the equipment aside for you.

Do you deliver, or do I pick up?

Both. You’re welcome to pick up at our Poulsbo location, or we’ll deliver and pick up across Kitsap County and the Olympic Peninsula for a delivery fee based on your address. Tell us where the job site is and we’ll quote it.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based in Poulsbo and serve all of Kitsap County and the Olympic Peninsula — including Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, Silverdale, Port Orchard, Sequim, Port Townsend, Gig Harbor, and the surrounding communities.

Are rentals priced by the day, week, or month?

All three — plus short hourly blocks on many items. You only pay for the time you need, and longer rentals earn better rates. Each item shows its rates in the catalog, so you can compare periods before you book.

What additional fees should I expect?

Rental rates are listed for every item in the catalog. Depending on your transaction, added charges may apply — such as delivery and pickup, environmental, fuel, and cleaning fees. One of our rental specialists will confirm the full total with you before the rental starts.

Can homeowners and DIYers rent, or just contractors?

Both. We rent to licensed contractors and weekend DIYers alike. If you’re not sure which machine or attachment fits your project, tell us what you’re doing and we’ll match you to the right equipment and supplies.

What do I need to bring to rent?

A valid photo ID and a payment method. Some equipment may require a deposit. If you’re taking a towable machine or trailer, make sure your vehicle and hitch are rated for the load — we’re glad to help you confirm the right setup.

Do you sell equipment and supplies too?
