Portable Power & Welding for Any Job Site
Whether you are running tools on a site with no power, keeping the lights on during an outage, or welding steel in the field, the right machine makes it possible. Northern Equipment Rental & Supply stocks portable and towable generators sized from a few tools to a whole site, plus engine-driven and shop welders — all by the day, week, or month.
Our generators and welders are serviced and load-tested so they start and hold under load. Tell us your wattage or welding process and we will match the right unit — then check live availability and reserve online.

Why Rent Power & Welding from Northern
Delivered and load-tested
We deliver generators and welders fueled, serviced, and tested so you have reliable power the moment you need it.
Sized to your load
Too small a generator trips under load; too big wastes fuel. We match the output to the tools and gear you are running.
Daily, weekly & monthly rates
Rent for a few hours or a full phase of the job. Flexible periods keep your rental cost in line with your timeline.
Local, hands-on support
We are a Poulsbo yard, not a national chain. Tell us the job and our team will help you choose the right equipment and the supplies to match.
Generator & Welder Rental FAQs
What size generator do I need?
Add up the running and starting wattage of everything you will power at once, and we will match you to a generator with headroom to spare. Tell us the tools or equipment and we will size it for you.
What kinds of welders do you rent?
We rent engine-driven welders for field work and shop welders for stick, MIG, and similar processes. Let us know your material, thickness, and process and we will set you up with the right machine.
Can I rent a generator for backup power during an outage?
Yes — portable and towable generators are popular for outage backup. Tell us what you need to keep running — furnace, fridge, well pump, lights — and we will size a unit that covers it.
Do you deliver generators and welders?
Yes. We deliver and pick up across Kitsap County and the Olympic Peninsula from our Poulsbo yard. Delivery and pickup fees are based on distance and we will quote them up front.
